I've had dogs all my life and even during my career in the army this was focused around dogs.  We worked with spaniels, Rottweilers and German Shepherds and the battalion mascot was an Airdale.

When I left the army we had a couple of dogs but the one that drove me to take up formal obedience classes was a collie x GSD named Chester.

Chester had a rough start in life, being dumped in the river at 4 weeks old and came to us from a rescue centre at 6 1/2 weeks old.  That's when the fun began!!

What this dog didn't do you could fit on the back of a stamp.  He destroyed my home, terrorised my children, ate his way through my front door and the list just goes on and on.

Once I became involved in pet dog training I never looked back, that was some 16 years ago now and although my methods have changed and evolved my passion for training has just grown.

In 2003 we set up K9 Solutions and it continues to grow and expand.  i still love working with dogs and their owners as much as I did when I first started.
